19 year old English surfer Lukas Skinner is already a UK legend and one of Europe’s greatest hopes.

Born in Cornwall, England, in 2008, Lukas grew up in a true surf family. His father is legendary longboarder and shaper Ben Skinner, and his sister Lila is equally busy ripping along the English coast.

With strong competition results, including two Rip Curl GromSearch International titles and runner up finishes at both the ISA World Surfing Games and the European Junior Surfing Championship in the same year, he also claimed two QS Boardmasters Open victories in 2024 and 2025 in his hometown of Newquay.

More recently, Lukas has turned heads globally with his “Wave of the Winter”, a deep and heavy Backdoor barrel on Oahu’s North Shore that perfectly captured his raw fearlessness and commitment. Driven by a sharp, progressive and aerial approach, this is undeniably just the beginning for Lukas Skinner.
